There has been a 520 model, a two-berth with an end washroom, in Elddis’s more upmarket Affinity range for some time now. This year, as part of a revamping of the whole Avante range, the company has seen fit to include 520 in there too. In the process, it has produced a van with the largest washroom the company has ever produced.

Step in here and you really will think you won’t ever need to traipse out to the campsite facilities, something which, when deciding on the best caravans, could be a dealbreaker. There is acres of room to get dressed in, and a large wardrobe where you should be able to store all the clothes you need for even quite a long tour.

Then in the main living area you still get the standard large sideboard opposite a well equipped kitchen, as well as two comfortable parallel settees that could certainly work as singles but join together with slats very easily to make a superbly comfortable double.
