The club was formed in 1973 when 76 Elddis Caravan owners attended an inaugural Rally at Gosforth Park, Newcastle-on-Tyne and formed the aims of the club. These are to promote the interests of and social fellowship among Elddis touring caravan and motorhome owners.
Every Member of the Elddis Owners Club receives a copy of the exclusive Programme of events, which gives you a detailed list of all the rallies to be held in the year.
All rallies are friendly, welcoming and great fun as well as being excellent value for money. Many of the winter rallies have electric hook up, but during the summer months some rallies are held in a field with just basic water and waste facilities. However many of their members use solar panels which will easily maintain the caravan battery life for running their television etc. All rallies have a social event, but it is not compulsory to attend; yet most members do.
If you have children, the club has a strong junior section and there are usually new friends for them to make at each rally, so soon your children will be asking to go to a rally as their friends are going to be there! Special events are organised for the children at the AGM and at other Rallies throughout the year.
