If you’re looking to embark on a career in Manufacturing or Business, an Apprenticeship could be the launchpad you need.
Some of our Apprentices undertake multi-discipline workplace training, so that they can find the role that best suits them, others follow a more focused route. All of our Apprentices feel a huge sense of achievement and enjoy the team spirit here at Erwin Hymer Group.
We value our Apprentices and aim to give them the opportunity to grow and learn… and hopefully stay with us for a long and rewarding career. Many of our Colleagues began their career here as Apprentices, including some of the Managers and Directors here today.
Jessie’s career at Erwin Hymer Group began with her 3-year apprenticeship, which she successfully completed in April 2020. She is now an integral part of the Commercial Team, working as Sales Administration Assistant, and particularly enjoys the fast-paced environment and team work – both in the office and at shows and events.
Louis joined Erwin Hymer Group straight from school after completing his GCSEs. On our Apprentice scheme Louis has worked in the Machine Shop, Despatch and Sales Administration – and it’s in the latter that he’s really found his feet. Louis has found the Erwin Hymer Team really supportive in his training and helping him ease into the areas of the business best suited to his skills.
After serving 4 years as an Electrical Engineering Apprentice at Erwin Hymer Group, Owen was offered a permanent position as a Multi-Skilled Electrical Technician (Electrical Bias) in the Company, overseeing the maintenance of our machines and factory layout. Owen completed his HNC in Electrical Engineering at Derwentside College whilst completing his apprenticeship, working on a day release basis. He very much enjoys working at Erwin Hymer Group and the great teamwork and camaraderie he has with his Colleagues.
