Elddis Crusader Aurora Caravan Magazine Review

Introducing the single-axle Aurora; it has a layout that’s now become a classic, with a rear bedroom featuring a retractable island bed, separated from the rest of the caravan by washing facilities that span the width of the caravan.

The washroom and shower cubicle are amidships, and can be easily sectioned off to use as separate facilities, or as a family washroom.

The lounge seating is a parallel configuration and is the perfect spot to relax with a drink after a day exploring. In rain or shine, it’s also a good place to play a board game with the kids or grandkids. There is so much space to enjoy in this 8ft-wide model.

There’s a classic cosiness about Crusaders; quality of furnishings, fixtures and fittings is a given in this range, and so is Alde heating, complete with heated towel warmer. Staying connected is important and with Pioneer radio, advanced remote control app, dedicated Freeview/satellite connection and speakers inset to front lockers, it is easily doable in the Aurora.

The Alde Load Monitor, ATC stability control system, an alarm system with corner steady sensor, an Al-Ko Diamond Standard Secure wheel lock and a 40-litre on-board water tank all add up to a package of practicality. New GRP Sunsation high-gloss silver sides provide superior UV resistance, too.

With a list of optional extras that include a hypnos mattress, wrap-around seating, solar panel and bike rack to name a few, the Crusader Aurora is a great caravan for enjoying the freedom of the road!
