We are looking for Production Operatives to work on our Caravan Line. The Caravan Line is responsible for the manufacturing of caravans, from the building of the exterior to the finishes in the interior. As part of working in this team, you will feel a sense of satisfaction knowing you are providing customers with high quality leisure vehicles, helping to build a lifestyle for someone.

There are a range of roles with different skillsets available. These include:

  • Working in the first stage of the caravan production line where we mechanically assemble the chassis and floor, including all under floor services such as gas pipes, wiring harnesses and waste pipes.
  • Working in the second stage of the caravan production line where we fit the furniture to the caravan sides then bond and assemble the sides to the chassis, Fit the front and rear internal panels and then the roof.
  • Working in the third stage of the caravan production line on the electrics and gas, wiring and connecting 230 volt and 12 volt fittings and installing appliances such as ovens, fridges, boilers etc.
  • Working in the fourth stage of the caravan production line where we fit and bond all external parts including front and rear panels, skylights awning rails and trims.

You will be a quality driven individual with excellent attention to detail and keen to learn the fundamentals of the job. We are flexible and aim to ensure all individuals are multi-skilled and able to operate in a range of roles.

Previous experience in furniture fitting/joinery/manufacturing is preferred but not necessary.

Job Title: Production Line Operative

Department: Shop Floor (Caravan Line) 

Purpose of Role: 

Manufacturing caravans from assembling the chassis, assembling and bonding sides and panels, fitting furniture, connecting and fitting gas and electrical appliances, fitting and bonding exterior parts.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assembly work within the production line
  • Support standard operations
  • Use hand tools to build furniture and fit caravan parts on line
  • Ensure all work completed is to the highest standard
  • Adhere to area work instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Participation in 5S, and other continuous improvement initiative
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed or required.

Person Specification - Production Line Operative 


  • Level 1 in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Desirable - Time served in joinery or similar discipline 


  • Knowledge of IT software
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Desirable - Experience of working in a production environment
  • Desirable - Experience of fitting furniture
  • Desirable - Experience of using hand tools / air tools 
  • Desirable - Experience of bonding components
