Main Purpose of the job

Support the project management of Lean Manufacturing implementation to create world class production and business



Improve productivity through the introduction of continuous improvement tools and techniques

Support business process re-engineering

Train and facilitate continuous improvement activities

Co-ordinate continuous improvement projects in line with business priorities

Budgetary responsibility

Support people development in Lean Manufacturing and business improvement techniques

Involvement in 5S & Continuous Improvement initiatives

Adhere to H&S Policy

Adhere to Company Handbook

Adhere to Quality Policy

Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures

Adhere to IT Policy

Involvement in training requests


Degree in Engineering or Related Degrees

Business Improvement Qualification would also desirable

Level 1 equivalent in English & Maths

Knowledge and Experience:

3 to 5 years of Lean Manufacturing implementation

Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques

Knowledge of business improvement management

Organising, training and facilitating Lean Manufacturing workshops

Proven Track record of;

-handling multi-projects

-implementation of lean manufacturing programmes (I.e. 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Standard Work, cell manufacture)

-understanding processes and process management

Normal Hours of work: 

Days : Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs Hours : 08:00 to 17:00

Fri 08:00 13:00

The post holder would be required to work the hours necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.
