Receptionist (Job Share)

 

Main Purpose of the job

Administration involved in the Reception area – answering telephone, post, filing etc.

Responsibilities:

Dealing efficiently and effectively with all telephone calls

General office duties which will include handling incoming and outgoing post, scanning, filing and photocopying

Booking in all Customer Care correspondence

Processing service schedules and completion notes in a timely manner

Handling of basic customer care correspondence

Managing all visitors to reception and ensuring they are aware of any company rules and

Health and Safety

Ordering stationary

General office administration

Participation in 5S, supporting continuous improvement

Any other reasonable duties

Qualifications:           

O Level/GCSE standard or equivalent – Maths, English desirable.

Knowledge and Experience:

Ability to use telephone system

Computer literate

Working Knowledge of Spreadsheets, Word, Excel and E-mail

Also working with bespoke computer packages.

Normal Hours of work: 

Mon – Thurs 8/00am – 12.45pm (19 hours per week)

This role is a job share and the post holder would be required to work full days as required for holidays/training/sickness cover (the hours necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role).
