Main Purpose of the job

To carry out all repairs/modifications to vehicles. Manufacture/aftermarket parts as required in a timely and efficient

manner. Ensure best practices are implemented and that work is undertaken to the highest standards. Be able to

cascade the knowledge to Apprentices/trainees. Be willing to travel (including over-night stays) to undertake

repairs/rework, providing high levels of quality and customer service.


Undertake repairs and modifications on vehicles to a high standard

Manufacture quality aftermarket parts

Liaise professionally with retailers or customers when undertaking remedial work

Health & Safety

5S and Continuous Improvement

Liaise with Team Leader for best practices and repair methods

Support standard operations

Feedback progress reports to Team Leader/Administration

Be able to read, obtain and work to Autocad drawings

Work to deadlines and be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime as and when required

Support retailer/supplier training & attend off-site training when required

Support handovers including press fleet/staff sales & customers

Support the inspection of units in & out as & when required

Support the PDI of caravans &motorhomes when required

Any other reasonable duties


Not necessary, training will be given however supporting qualifications e.g. Electrician/ CNC operation / Gas safe /

joinery beneficial.

Knowledge and Experience:

Manufacturing background or other relevant experience such as joinery skills. This is an extensive and varied role,

training will be provided (e.g., CITO and Gas Safe.)


Self-motivated and hard working

Good communication skills both written & oral

Ability to prioritise own workload and multi task

Ability to use own initiative

Normal Hours of work: 

Days : Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs Hours : 08:00 to 17:00

Fri 08:00 13:00

The post holder would be required to work the hours necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.
