Position:

Aftermarket Supply Coordinator

 

Main Purpose of the job

To manage the day to day running of the Gateway Phase 2 supply of parts to retailers within the Purchasing

department.

Responsibilities:

Creation and maintenance of database records for Suppliers operating within the Gateway system.

Agreeing Parameters and maintenance of Terms and conditions in line with the Gateway operating strategy.

Expediting Delinquent warranty parts supplied direct from Suppliers to retailers.

Expediting Delinquent aftermarket parts supplied from Suppliers to Elddis Warehouse.

Engaging and Training suppliers to use the Gateway system.

Managing the day to day operations of the Elddis aged order reports.

Liaising with the purchasing team to find solutions to adhoc day to day aftermarket supply issues.

Participate in Supplier meetings to improve supply chain issues on aftermarket parts.

Capture statistical data to produce KPI information.

Participation in 5s activities and Continuous improvement activities

Handling escalated supplier disputes.

Expediting aftermarket part prices.

5S, business improvement activities

Any other reasonable Purchasing duties as requested

Qualifications:           

GCSE or Equivalent in English, Maths and business administration.

Business improvement techniques (Level 2) or Equivalent Desirable.

Purchasing Qualification Desirable. (CIPS)

Full clean driving licence

Knowledge and Experience:

IT experience

Experience of working in busy office environment desirable.

Experience of working in a purchasing environment desirable.

Normal Hours of work: 

Days : Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs Hours : 08:00 to 17:00

Fri 08:00 13:00

The post holder would be required to work the hours necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.
