Marketing Assistant

 

Main Purpose of the job

The objective of this role is to support the Commercial Team with the marketing of all Erwin Hymer Group (EHG) brands in the UK.

In addition, the role will support our Retailers with their own marketing activities.

Responsibilities:

Implementing, fulfilling and maintaining the agreed marketing and public relations (PR) strategy in the UK for all EHG brands.

Provide a trusted point-of-contact for and liaise with individual brand marketing teams within EHG and all UK retailers of EHG products to establish and maintain a collaborative and consistent network.

Ensuring that our brand guidelines are correctly and consistently applied.

Create and utilise a library of marketing materials (e.g. videos, photography, specification, technical information, pricing, data, literature) for all brands across the selected media platforms.

Monitoring and awareness of online sales leads and conversions.

Update, maintain and grow Social Media platforms for all EHG Brands, creating PR content and utilising content generated from all appointed brand bloggers, influencers and associated Social Media campaigns: monitoring and awareness of web traffic and Social Media growth; (e.g. Facebook pages and groups, Twitter, Instagram).

Updating and maintaining website(s) and associated platforms (e.g. HUB, E-Zine).

Production of e-newsletters and database management.

Assist with all shows and events (from planning to attendance).

Photography and film projects, including: propping/styling; scripts; location sourcing; vehicle logistics/availability; proofing; filing/filesharing; uploading and distribution.

Press enquiries, facilitating vehicle reviews and distributing press reviews; copywriting and PR.

Proofreading and improving translated documents and press releases.

Brochure, literature and point of sales (POS) production (printed and digital); monitoring and managing POS and brochure stock.

Fulfil brochure requests.

Building supplier relationships and working with their marketing teams.

General administration (e.g. hotel bookings, co-ordinating event attendance etc).

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting.

Qualifications:           

GCSE or equivalent (including English and Maths) as a minimum requirement.

Additional language skills (esp. Basic or Advanced German) advantageous.

Driving licence essential.

Knowledge and Experience:

The successful candidate must have excellent organisational and communication skills, creative flair and strong copywriting ability. Experience is preferred but not essential.

Normal Hours of work: 

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.15pm. Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm. The post holder would be required to work the hours necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.
